Dear Wine Club members,
Welcome to our second annual membership of The Wine Club.
Following the success of the past years’ membership, I am pleased to announce that we will be hosting four dinners this year, with the support from Victor Hugo, Vintners & newly joined Love Wine, to whom I would like to thank for their fantastic support.
The dinner format will be the same (4/5 course meals paired with wines) hosted by a guest speaker on Thursday nights in Sirocco restaurant.
This year we have also decided to become more interactive and therefore I am proud to present our micro-site /blog to support our love for great wine and good food. The idea is to have an on-line space where we can swap ideas, interact with each other and obtain valuable insight and information.
Taking into consideration the valuable feedback gained from our members; we have also adjusted our policies, as an example- previously, the dinner dates were only announced one month before the event, for this year all dates will be announced on the 1st of July and bookings will be accepted from then. This will hopefully provide our members sufficient time to plan ahead and manage their busy schedules.
Members can invite up to 2 guests per event, price for non-members for this year will be of £75.
Members can also host tables of 10 for any of the events (if available) however these can only be confirmed 1 month in advance.
Wine club members will now be able to enjoy a 20% discount on total bill when dining in Sirocco, and as Love wine have also joined as one of our preferred suppliers, they are also offering 20% discount on purchases made on their shop.
For this year, a newsletter will be issued every month and will feature tips from top sommeliers living and working in Jersey.
